This was not just old-fashioned Bingo with squares full of numbers…The cards for each of the six games were dedicated to a different Shakespeare related theme – Words Shakespeare Invented; Shakespearean Actors; Cliches, Phrases and Insults; Life and Times of Shakespeare; Love and Murder in the Plays; All About Shakespeare in the Litchfield Hills.

At 4pm on March 21, you can play Bingo for the Bard and possibly win a $25 gift card or the $100 grand prize! All of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards bringing 5 live outdoor performances of Twelfth Night to the Litchfield Hills, August 4-8. These performances will be free to the community and will feature Equity and professional actors as well as local performers.

You can play Bingo for the Bard by going to the shop at www.shakesperience.org or go directly to http://tiny.cc/bingoforthebard . Each set of 6 Bingo cards costs $25 (1 card per game). Additional sets must be purchased for each player in your household. Deadline for ordering cards is March 15. You will need to print out your own cards before March 21.
